Ann Skipper | Village (Church) People

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

Thank you to all who have supported me in the past for Family Promises Walk Away Homelessness Event. Through your help and support the organization was able to raise over $150,000 last year. This will be the9th Annual Walk and is their biggest fund-raiser and community event, providing over one third of the operating budget for all their programming.

In 2013, Family Promise Metrowest began a Transitional Living Program to address the needs of families after they left shelter.

In 2015,  Steps to Success, a comprehensive employment initiative assisting families to reach their highest earning potential was launched.

The newest collaboration is with City Mission to help families who face eviction.Local Initiative for Family Empowerment, L.I.F.E., provides financial support and case management to keep families in their homes.

The greatest hurdle to  families ready to move on is the lack of affordable housing. Family Promise is committed to increasing the stock of permanent, affordable housing for those they serve. The first project, a two-family house owned by the Natick Affordable Housing Trust and designated for their families, will open this spring.

Thank you for your consideration of this most worthy organization.

Please help me raise money to support all these important initiatives.
